There’s just something about Georgia.
She is kind of like a little bit of sunshine in furry coat.
Georgia came to us with her siblings as tiny pups. They all found forever homes, but Georgia is still looking for hers.
Sometimes things happen for a reason. And, we think it was meant to be that Georgia stayed here a little longer.
You see, she became a “big sister” and caring companion for one of our vision impaired dogs.
Georgia was her roommates big spoon, playmate and even her eyes on occasion until her friend was recently adopted.
Now, it is time for this sweetest of girls to be given back all the love she gave in a forever home of her own.
Georgia loves other compatible dogs and enjoys “ruff-housing” with them while playing chase in our play yards.
She isn’t picky about her toys and will happily play with just about anything she finds.
With her favorite people Georgia is a velcro dog.
She may just need a little time to get comfortable with new people and a few visits with you may help.
Keep in mind it may take her a little while to learn how to adjust to your home and routine having spent her life with us thus far.
But, this smart girl is a people pleaser and with a few tasty treats she is ready to learn basic obedience with you as her leader.
Georgia cannot wait for belly rubs, back scratches and a pampered but active life with you.
Shared hobbies that engage her body and mind will help keep this energetic girl content.
