Jody will paint your loving companion in acrylic on stretched canvas. All of her paintings are done "edge-to-edge" so that there is no need for additional framing.

Instead of using "strictly realistic" colors, Jody paints your companion in a beautiful blend of vibrant colors which she feels best represents your companion's personality traits.

For example, Jody may use bright purple, blue or red to express a bold, outgoing personality or colors such as light green, lavendar or baby blue to illustrate a shy or cautious personality.  As you can see in these photos of Jody's creations, each painting has its own unique blend of colors to express that animal's personality.

Jody will speak individually about companion's personality, as well as colors which you like and dislike. She will ask you to provide with photo(s) of your pet that best express his or her personality. 
In addition to commissioned paintings, Jody has painted a series of dog, cat and other animal paintings, including wildlife.  

Her most recent work has centered around the theme of 
"Not Forgotten" which spotlights the beautiful spirits of dogs and cats.
