Babyface is considered somewhat "special needs" since he is shy and unsure of new people and surroundings. He came from a place where there were way too many dogs and as a result, did not get the socialization he needed to receive when he was younger.
When afraid, Babyface can bolt easily and run away so he needs to go into a home that has a sturdy, board-on-board fencing that he cannot climb or dig under. He also would not do well with young, active children at this point in time.
If there is another smaller dog in the home that accepts Babyface, that would be great for him. Other, more outgoing dogs can help shy dogs like Babyface feel more comfortable in their surroundings.
Once Babyface is settled, he will no doubt become a loving member of the family.
